Ugh, have you ever felt so very attached to a character that it feels like your lives are inextricably intertwined? I have literally grown up with this character, and even though we’re not even in the same galaxy, our lives continue to parallel one another’s. This means one of two things: either I’ve got some sort of cosmic coincidence thing going on, or I have VERY good reason to be paranoid.
Joe is getting better and better at reading out loud. He is very self-conscious of the fact that he may be a little bit dyslexic and wants to be able to confidently read bedtime stories to our children. First he read me Matilda and now we’re on J.R.R. Tolkein’s “The Hobbit”.
“I have a higher and grander standard of principle than George Washington. He could not lie; I can, but I won’t.”—Mark Twain, on his high horse of awesomeness. Does this guy have a fuckyeah community? I haven’t looked.
“Paul Allen. You DO have millions and millions of dollars. You DON’T have a Firefly collection for your Sci-Fi Museum. I DO have lots of crap I stole from the set of Firefly and Serenity. I DON’T have a kick-ass house in the Hills with a pool and guest house. Maybe we could work something out…”—Nathan Fillion (NathanFillion) on Twitter
When Star Trek came out in May 2009, the celebrity gossip community, OH NO THEY DIDN’T (ONTD), became obsessed with the actors and culture surrounding Star Trek. Due to its overwhelming popularity, a safe-haven and meetup location was established within the framework of ONTD and under the auspices that Star Trek could now be worshipped as something cool. I’ve read ONTD casually for many years, but ONTD_StarTrek is one of my favorite websites now. Enjoy!
“There’s just one Michael Jackson now. We don’t have to reconcile the Michael Jackson we love with another Michael Jackson. In a way, he has returned to pristine condition in death. We can be free now for the rest of our lives to love the Michael Jackson we used to love.”—TIME - John Mayer reacts to Michael Jackson’s death
