Just needing to brag a little bit to those of you not on Facebook. A friend of mine from undergrad at NMSU lives in DC and when we had a little chat on Facebook about Madeleine Albright, I had no idea she was going to get Albright to sign this book for me! I am totally Leslie Knope-ing out here!

About Me

My name is Andrea. I am a newly-minted Pacific northwesternerner in Washington. I grew up in (and have a lot of pictures of) New Mexico. I live with my husband and my cats Rory and Otis. We live in Pullman, where my husband researches at the Institute of Shock Physics, while I have just left my job as a barista with a Master's Degree in Government (and am hoping for a career in that field now).

My passions are photography, cooking, and learning new ways to braid my hair. For 2013, I plan to make this an intensely personal blog and move away from the pop culture aspect of blogging that can be so addictive.
