Between traveling, visiting, celebrating, and my #$%^@& job, I always have something to worry about. I feel like I haven’t stopped worrying since I got promoted and realized I was going to be in a wedding. Now I have anxiety after the wedding about how I came off to the people there, and I don’t have time to enjoy family coming to visit because I have this sense of duty to this job, meaning I can’t ask for any more time off without weighing down on coworkers. I am despising June.

About Me

My name is Andrea. I am a newly-minted Pacific northwesternerner in Washington. I grew up in (and have a lot of pictures of) New Mexico. I live with my husband and my cats Rory and Otis. We live in Pullman, where my husband researches at the Institute of Shock Physics, while I have just left my job as a barista with a Master's Degree in Government (and am hoping for a career in that field now).

My passions are photography, cooking, and learning new ways to braid my hair. For 2013, I plan to make this an intensely personal blog and move away from the pop culture aspect of blogging that can be so addictive.
